QUINOA SALAD
Blog QUINOA SALAD Ingredients: 1 cup uncooked quinoa, rinsed in a fine-mesh colander 2 cups water 1 medium cucumber chopped 1 medium boiled bell pepper, chopped ¾ cup chopped onion 2 tsp. olive oil 1 chopped tomato ¼ cup chopped boiled cauliflower lemon juice (from 1-2 lemons) 2 cloves garlic, pressed or minced black pepper & salt to taste Spring onion Method: To cook the quinoa: Combine the rinsed quinoa and the water in a medium saucepan. Bring the mixture to boil. Cook until the quinoa has absorbed all of the water. Remove from heat, cover, and let the quinoa rest for 5 minutes, to give it time to fluff up. In a large serving bowl, combine the cucumber, cauliflower, bell pepper, tomato onion Set aside. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic and salt. Whisk until blended, then set aside. Once the quinoa is mostly cool, add it to the serving bowl, and put the veggies on top and mix it well.. Season with black pepper, to taste, and add an extra pinch of salt if necessary. For best flavour, let the salad rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving. OATS BREAD PIZZA
Blog OATS BREAD PIZZA Ingredients: 1-2 slices of brown bread Curd oats Chopped onions Capsicum & tomato (diced) 1 tsp. graded paneer Cooking oil Spices ( Dhaniya powder, garam masala) Salt & black pepper Method: Take 4 tsp. white oats and add 3 tsp. curd in it. Mix it well and let it soak for30minutes After that add all the masala(Dhaniya powder, salt, red pepper, garam masala) Mix it well Add chopped vegetables (onion, capsicum, tomato) Apply the batter on brown bread on one side Add 1 tsp. graded paneer Shallow fry it Consume it with green chutney. Broken Wheat Patty
Broken Wheat Patty Ingredients: Broken wheat (Dalia) Paneer (grated) vegetables (Carrots, Potato, Capsicum, Corn etc. grated) Chopped Onion Garlic finely chopped Salt to taste Wheat flour/Bread crumbs Oil Method: Take 1 cup of water for ½ cup of broken wheat and bring to a boil. After couple of minutes switch off and keep it covered for 5 minutes. The broken wheat will get cooked with the steam. Take all these raw vegetables in a mixing bowl Add the cooked broken wheat, grated paneer, chilli sauce to this. Mix it well. Add some bread crumbs or plain wheat flour and mix. Check for seasoning and adjust if needed. Take small portions of the mixture and shape it into cutlets. Heat the pan & put oil in it. Place the cutlets & cook them till it becomes golden brown. Serve them with green chutney.
